Alarm Clock for iPods

SDI Technologies IH4P IH4 PINK ALARM CLOCK FOR IPOD

The SDI Technologies IH4P IH4 PINK ALARM CLOCK FOR IPOD is from UnbeatableSale.com.

You can wake wake to the ipod or a buzzer. Personally, I’d go with the ipod, buzzers take years off your life.

The alarm reset turns off the alarm while automatically resetting for same time the following day. Pretty smart. Click the link or the pretty, pretty picture to learn more. If you just aren’t feeling the pink, there are other colors available.

While on the site, check out other sales - they really do have some sweet deals.

Are the iPod’s Days Numbered?

Bloged in Cell Phones, iPods by All Handhelds Friday January 4, 2008 at about 10:45 am

Are the days of the iPod coming to an end. While I personally would say hell to the no, a professor at the University of Alabama rolls with this tide: that the iPhone will eventually replace the iPod.

Michael Hardin, associate dean of research at UA’s Culverhouse College of Commerce says, “I predict the iPhone will eventually replace the iPod,” Hardin says. “No one wants to carry around a pocket full of devices, so having your phone, calendar, music and video player in one device will be appealing.”

Finally! A Sexy iPod Docking Station

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Thursday December 27, 2007 at about 11:44 am

The HoMedics iSoundSpa(tm) Clock Radio with iPod Docking Station is as handsome as it is functional.

I’m really not a fan of a lot of the docking stations - they’re kind of homely. But the one above is from Macy’s and is a modernistic hottie.

From the web site:

Wake up to the tunes you choose or just rock out loud any time you want. Customizable with interchangeable faceplates to match your iPod®, this stylish clock/radio and docking station plays music with amazing sound clarity as it charges your iPod and displays the time on its large digit LCD display. One-year limited warranty. Model SS-6500.

Features:

  • AM/FM radio with digital tuning and volume control
  • Line-in allows you to attach non-docking iPods, CD players and other MP3 players
  • Universal inserts fits all docking iPods
  • Dual alarm with snooze feature
  • 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute nap feature and auto-off timer

Take a good, long look at the HoMedics iSoundSpa(tm) Clock Radio with iPod Docking Station - it’s a lot less than you’d expect it to be, too. That, of course, only adds to it’s appeal.

iSymphony R-Speaker Portable Amplified Speaker System

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Friday November 9, 2007 at about 7:08 am

The iSymphony R-Speaker Portable Amplified Speaker System is a much sweeter-looking audio system than a lot of the robotic-looking ones on the market. This one looks like it followed an actual design rather than looking like it was molded in a box your Aunt Clara had her meds delivered in.

It’s available at Walmart.com for less than $40. Shipping charges give you the blues? N/A this time - they offer free “Site to Store” shipping - which, personally I think all companies should do. As if they don’t have trucks headed in that direction all the time anyway, right?

From the Website:
The iSymphony R-Speaker Portable Amplified Speaker System is a compact round stereo speaker for iPod, other audio players or your PC. You won’t need a headset — simply connect the R-Speaker to your preferred device, and enjoy your music while you work or play.

A Case of iPods Saving Lives

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Monday March 26, 2007 at about 6:31 am

Okay, I admit it. The title’s a little over the top - but not entirely untrue. An innovative Temple University medical school instructor has come up with a way to help his students become better doctos by listening to their ipods. Click HERE to see what he’s doing, how he’s doing it and the really cool side effects of having done it…..

Colorful iPod Shuffles

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Thursday February 1, 2007 at about 12:10 pm

Put some color on. New iPod shuffle colors now available.

Gorgeousness. It’s time —–okay, it’s past time—–to add more color to your world. If you’re stuck in a techy world of grays, this is your wake-up call.

You have to check out the vivid new colors of these iPod Shuffles. There are 5 brilliant colors in all and they’re each under $80. This, of course, means they’d make the PERFECT Valentine’s Day gift. Can you just imagine your special someone opening a box expecting chocolates and finding a bright orange iPod Shuffle instead.

You might would be faced with the best sex of your life. If you think you could handle it, by all means look further into these colorful works of art.

Click the link at the top of the post for a closer look at these little aphrodisiacs. Then, let your creative side take over. Buy a large box of chocolates, eat all the candy and place one of these guys inside the box. Close and present to the love of your life.

Or, better still, put the candy in a special little bag or box to give after they’ve opened the iPod shuffle. Once a brain thinks it’s getting chocolate and it’s informed that there isn’t any, it starts thinking of ways to exact revenge.

Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything…..

5 Cool Things to do with Your iPod

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Monday July 31, 2006 at about 8:12 am

I was searching for information on “blog plugins and how they can enhance your search engine ranking” this morning and I came across the post I’m about to throw in your lap. It sidetracked me from what I was looking for, but that’s perfectly okay - my brain was about to explode anyway.

Here’s the link: Five Cool Things to do with Your iPod

After you finish this post, have a look around at his other posts. I’m in the middle of one now that’s actually about what I set out looking for.

Before the sidetrack.
