Panasonic DMC-LZ1 4.0 Megapixel Digital Camera

Panasonic DMC-LZ1 4.0 Megapixel Digital Camera

The Panasonic DMC-LZ1 4.0 Megapixel Digital Camera may just be the next camera I welcome into my life. I love the brand, for one thing - and, for another, the price is right around what makes me happy.

Click through to take a closer look. You’ll really want to look around the website, trust me on this one. I lost track of the number of things I found that were also priced in my happy zone. Everything from the camera you see above to a Cajun Cookware Cast Iron Dutch Oven for $7. There was also a 15 gallon Cajun Cookware Jambalaya Pot that pretty much fascinates me, even though I’m not totally convinced of what to do with it. I guess I could get a small dog and use the pot for its bath. Or not.

Yeah, I’ll probably go with not.

Philips Digital Photo Frame

Philips 7" Digital Photo Frame

Ever see something that blows you away so much that you think, “I wish I’d thought of that!” ? The Philips 7" Digital Photo Frame has that effect on me. As freakin’ if I could’ve come up with the hows and whats of the product, itself (I do well to manipulate the remote control to my dvd player - tricky little cuss), but I’d love to be able to take credit for the concept.

The Philips 7" Digital Photo Frame has enough memory to store 100 photos, meaning that even a grandparent would have enough room.

Other Features:

  • Innovative frame receives digital images from camera, memory card or PC and displays them automatically. Options to display single photos, thumbnails or slideshows.
  • 14 MB of internal memory lets you save 100 or more full-screen photos.
  • High-definition, 133ppi screen displays crisp, vibrant pictures.
  • High pixel density (720×480 resolution) provides outstanding clarity.
  • Adjustable brightness takes advantage of ambient light conditions to make each picture look its best.
  • Display can be pre-set to turn on/off automatically at the time of your choice.
  • Simple, intuitive operation means no complicated programming (They’ve heard of me and my remote control..).
  • Landscape or portrait display.
  • Includes: AC/DC adapter and USB cable.
  • Rechargeable battery 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Fling those old frames and photos off of your desk and into a closet - this is a much sweeter way to show off your loved ones.

Canon Powershot 7.1 Megapixel A710 IS Digital Camera

6x optical, 4x digital zoom / Real-image Optical Zoom Viewfinder / 2.5-inch TFT Color LCD / Image Stabilizer / DIGIC II Imaging Processor / High-Speed USB

If I could, for some unknown, inexplicable reason just keep one handheld, it would actually be my digital camera. Even over my cell. I could live just as comfortably if I had to return to using “traditional” phones and methods of contact - but if I had to go back to the old way of taking pictures, I’d get a massive headache.

I guess a lot of it has to do with what you do or what your habits are. As a web publisher/web designer, a digital camera is almost as important to my day as a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino from Starbucks. Almost, dude, almost.

The Canon Powershot 7.1 Megapixel A710 IS Digital Camera is fully equipped and ready to roll.

You’ll get up on the stage and down on the field with a powerful 6x Optical zoom, and Canon’s Image stabilizer Technology will keep your images clear and sharp at every point in the zoom - even in low light. With 7.1 megapixels of resolution, you’ll see uncommon depth and detail in your images. Such high resolution also ensures virtually unlimited freedom to enlarge and crop an image for powerfully expressive photography. With a menu of selectable shooting modes (including still and movie), Canon Powershot A710-IS makes picture taking simpler and friendlier.

Use the link above to take a closer look, scour over the features, and even watch a video.

The Canon PowerShot Digital ELPH

Bloged in Digital Cameras by All Handhelds Wednesday December 6, 2006 at about 8:18 am

The lovely, above, is the Princess Diana of the camera world. Elegant, bejeweled, but equally benevolent. The Bejeweled Canon PowerShot Digital ELPH is decorated with real diamonds and valued at about $50, 000 each. Flashy? Sure, but it has a heart of gold.

Proceeds from an auction of the five 10th anniversary Canon ELPH cameras will go to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Canon UK has a similar effort with proceeds from that auction going to the Red Cross.

Lowest Prices on Electronics

Check out Wal-Mart getting all kinds of tech-licious. They’ve become so much more than just the place I get Tide, dog food, cat litter, and Crest. You can do some serious shopping at Wally World, in spite of all the happy yellow faces and blue vests. In fact my last digital camera was from Wal-Mart and I haven’t had even 1/2 a problem with it.

Click on over and check out their ridiculous prices on the Philips GoGear 6GB Photo MP3 Player, HDD1630/17, the Canon 7.1 MP Digital Elph SD550 Digital Camera & CP510 Portable Printer Bundle, and the Creative Labs MuVo V100 1GB MP3 Player. These are just a few of the products they have that share dead on sameness with much higher priced products.

When we weren’t looking, Wal-Mart became a hot place to shop.
