Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Monday July 31, 2006 at about 8:12 am

I was searching for information on “blog plugins and how they can enhance your search engine ranking” this morning and I came across the post I’m about to throw in your lap. It sidetracked me from what I was looking for, but that’s perfectly okay - my brain was about to explode anyway.

Here’s the link: Five Cool Things to do with Your iPod

After you finish this post, have a look around at his other posts. I’m in the middle of one now that’s actually about what I set out looking for.

Before the sidetrack.

Jessica Simpson Positano Leather Cell Phone Case

I can’t think of a hotter star right now than Jessica Simpson. She’s one of the rare celebs that people of all ages seem to like. I’m not sure if it’s her talent, her beauty, or her warm, Texas personality. Probably a combination of all three.

The Jessica Simpson Positano Leather Cell Phone Case from ebags.com is one of the nicest looking cases I”ve seen in a while. Too many are down-right tacky looking or boring - this is neither.

Use the link above to catapult yourself over to the website and have a look around. Ebags has everything from hot handbags and wallets to luggage and mp3 cases. (If you’re female, I guarantee you’ll want to check out the Bohemian Babe handbags. Nice. Real Nice.)

Reach out and Text Someone

Bloged in General, Cell Phones, Cell Phone News by All Handhelds Tuesday July 18, 2006 at about 7:24 am

Psychology Today reports that text-messaging makes for more intimate friendships. Friends who speak to one another only face to face or only by phone aren’t quite as close as those who text message.

Yet, studies show that most people who text message from their mobile phone tend to do so with only half of their friends.

The top half, it would appear.

Cell Phones That Play Music

Bloged in Cell Phones, Cell Phone News, Defies a Category by All Handhelds Sunday July 16, 2006 at about 9:03 am

Mobile Music - there are, of course, some things in life that are sweeter - but not many. A lot of cell phones are coming with integrated music players these days. Can’t help thinking that it won’t be long before that’s the rule rather than the exception.

Our world has just about set itself to music, like one big music video. I’m all for it, as long as the music’s good and the video well-directed. ;)

More information lies just after the……..jump.

So off topic it’s embarassing… (okay, you were warned): Have you seen Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest? Great movie - I mean, you have The Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom all together in one place. It doesn’t get any better than that. Okay, maybe if theaters sold coffee or Chai tea… Starbuck’s oughta look into setting up shop in movie theaters. I’d be one happy, caffeine-juiced movie addict.

Wii to dominate game market

Bloged in General, Reviews, All Handhelds by All Handhelds Saturday July 15, 2006 at about 10:50 am

by Insyder

Rumors have been spreading around various Wii Forums on the web, speculating as to how Nintendo’s new system will fare on the market. According to many gamers, the Wii is guaranteed to surface as the dominate console in the upcoming console war of 2007. Here’s why:

The Wii appeals to a broad audience, has great in-house game support and strong support from third party developers such as Hudson. The Wii’s controls are, in a word, ‘revolutionary’ and will set the stage for a true shift in how the public plays games. In addition to all of this, the Wii will retail for a mere $250 in the US, in sharp contrast to the Xbox 360’s $400 price tag and the staggering $600 for the ps3.

The primary philosophy of both the Microsoft and Sony console has been to improve graphics capabilities across the board, but with such a steep price for so much flash and flair, most gamers can only afford one console, let alone both. But with the cheap pricing of the Wii, many gamers will find themselves owning both a Nintendo console and either a Microsoft or Sony console.

But which will they be buying? It’s my opinion, along with many of my fellow insiders, that the Xbox360 and the Wii will emerge victorious, with Nintendo’s revolutionary console selling the most units. The 360 has a better gaming lineup, and comes at a much cheaper price than the ps3. But regardless of which heavy-hitting graphics oriented console most players buy, odds are Nintendo will come up the strongest because of it’s affordability and mass appeal.

We expect Nintendo’s stock to rise substantially as the months approaching the Wii launch progress.

How To Download Ipod Games

Bloged in iPods by All Handhelds Sunday July 2, 2006 at about 10:40 pm

by Jessica Smith

It’s quite easy to download Ipod games. Most sites provide the converter you need in order to put the Ipod software downloads onto your Ipod.

Once you’ve downloaded the games of your choice, you can play them directly on your Ipod Mini, Ipod Nano or video Ipod.

There are so many different games you can download to your Ipod; sports, action, strategy, puzzles, driving, adventure, simulations and role-playing. Some of the most popular games at the moment are action games such as Persuit Force, Daxter and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Popular shooter games include Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Essentials. A popular arcade/puzzle game is Me and My Katmari. Two popular fighting games are Fight Night: Round 3 and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai.

There are so many Ipod software downloads out there that you’re spoiled for choice. It can be very time consuming surfing from site to site trying to find the particular games you want to download. Wouldn’t it be great if you could download hundreds of Ipod games from the one site?

Well, I’ve just found such a site. It has hundreds of Ipod games to download and the game database is updated daily. I’m in Ipod game heaven! Want to join me?

Cell Phone Talkers as Dangerous as Drunk Drivers?

Bloged in Cell Phones, Cell Phone News by All Handhelds Saturday July 1, 2006 at about 8:44 am

They’re saying that cell phone users are as bad as drunk drivers. I still have trouble buying into this one, but guess facts speak for themselves. Truth be known, if I’m headed down a dark road and I have to have one of the two driving an oncoming car, I’ll take my chances with the cell phone.

At any rate, we really should try to limit our calls when we’re behind a wheel. Why not pull into the nearest DQ and get a Moolatte while finishing up the conversation? Heck, throw caution to the wind and grab a Flame Thrower burger while you’re at it. Was that a great commercial or what? - When the guy sets his office on fire with his breath?? Cracked me up every time.

Here’s the link to the article, check it out and see what you think. >>>>> Cell Phone Talkers as Bad as Drunk Drivers

I’d pretty much wrestle a pissed bison for a Flame Thrower burger right now.
