Industry giant, Apple Computer Inc., faced a lawsuit that suggested they knew their Nano portable music player was defective but went ahead with the release anyway.
The tiny little Nano met with great reviews, but some users quickly started griping online about its screen scratching too easily.
Here’s the article, see what you make of it. ( Continue Article )
Want to dress your iPod in the hippest fashions while protecting it from harm? Forget thick plastic shells - that’s so yesterday the other iPod’s’ll point. And laugh.
Check out the skins below, from iPodStyles. These designs are printed on premium grade adhesive-backed vinyl. Unlike some other skins, the skins at iPodStyles use a patented repositionable, removable and reusable adhesive backing making it easier (and less messy) to position and reposition.

If these skins ever fade, blur, or smudge, they’ll replace them for free - all you’d have to pay would be S&H.

I’ve always given special consideration to businesses with hearts. The ones who give to the community make me feel like the money I spend will be, in turn, spent wisely and well.
It’s especially grand when a company I already love turns out to have a heart of gold. Best Buy, who I feel nothing but love for, has one of the best Christmas programs in the country. I’m ALL for keeping children in mind when the holidays roll around (as well as the rest of the year, of course) - but I’m always afraid that the teenagers will be overlooked. They’re kids, too, after all, whether they always remember that or not!
Best Buy is part of the Marines’ Toys for Teens program and puts barrels in every store to collect electronics, CDs, DVDs and other tech-y goods for kids who wouldn’t otherwise even know it was Christmas. Best Buy also gives generously to charities throughout the year - but since it’s almost that time again, I thought I’d ask you to consider making your holidays extra special by making a young face light up.

The earlier we start, the more faces we can light up.

There’s a new blog on the block - Office Freaks. Yeah, it’s cool.
As far as I know, It’s the only blog for office supplies around. There were blogs for cell phones, digital cameras, iPods, cats, food, golf, etc…but we office freaks were being ignored. Now, that’s just not right.
The blog will be written by a team of totally cool freaks with various styles, outlooks, likes and dislikes. Here they are in no particular order. Take a look at the sample blog for each to “meet” them:
Cary Miller - Church of the iPod
Lori Miller - Too Sexy for My Hair
Chrispian Burks - Nothing to Say
Aeryn Burks - Aeryn.org
Mike Sigers - Travelling Golfer
Joi Sigers - Out of Bounds
By the way, I’m the bottom freak. Ummm, that is to say the freak on the bottom. Sounded for a minute like I was paying homage to my gluteus maximus aphrodisiomania.
Check out the blogs and then check out the new blog, Office Freaks.
Have a digital camera? Interested in making more money?
Below is a link to a new article we added to All Handhelds.com. The author, Jenny Harker, gives some great ideas about making money with a digital camera. Even if you don’t want to take the road she suggests (which I think is PERFECT), she’ll probably spark your brain cells to come up with another great idea.

Here are a few links that deal with the new kid on the block, Gizmondo. Apparently, Game Boy and PSP had better be on their collective heels.

Review - From the mouth of someone who knows far more than I do about handheld gaming devices. But can he bake doughnuts from scratch. Didn’t think so. Ego intact.

Yahoo Maps, meet iPod Photo…..iPod Photo, meet Yahoo Maps. You have to see what came from this little meeting.
You know those times when a trip looms before you and you have no clue where you’re going? Atlases are headaches and the fold up maps are even worse….and, stop for directions. Yeah, right.
